My problem is when I insert pictures into the body of an email...
the pictures are too large and I have not found a way to edit them.
Who knows how to do that?
I can select the picture but it doesn't have "handles" to pull to size it and I have not found a command on the toolbar or menus that allows me to edit the picture.

Sorry> Microsoft Office for Mac 2008 does not contain a graphics editor.

You need to use an external graphics editor for that. For example: Preview
comes with the operating system, and may be sufficient for this purpose.

Cheers

On Mac the best least expensive Graphics Converter is Graphics
Converter by LemkeSoft.

Then next is FireWorks.

And, the best no hold barred, is Photoshop. Note you will have to have
deeeeeeep pockets to purchase Photoshop, Photoshop alone cost more than
Office2008 full priced.

While Graphics Converter is in the $50.00 range.

Thanks, I have Photoshop but in Entourage on the menu Tools > Toolbox > Object Palette there are graphics (clip art)but the clip art comes in so large it is not usable. Any ideas how to size them other than finding where on the hard drive the clip art is stored and resizing in Photoshop?

Hi Micki,

Use Microsoft Word to create your email messages. There, you can resize the
shapes easily. Then use File > Send To > Mail Recipeint > As HTML

select the object.

Then double click on the object.

a Formatting Pallet comes up. click on the button for size another
window opens you have several ways to reduces the easiest is to type a
percentage in and see what that looks like. then you could fine tune my
entering numbers in the inches (or CM box depending upon the ruler
system you use).
