Hey everyone,

I hope you ca help me.
I am trying to setup up Entourage so that it can receive emails from my companies Microsoft exchange server. Unfortunatly it does not work, even if I set everything up manualy.
I think the problem is that, Entourage asks me for the LDAP server but I was told from our IT department that we dont have one.
So is there anyhting I can do about that?

Thanks in advance!!!!!

Lack of an LDAP server won't prevent you from sending/receiving messages
or using Exchange.

I have instructions for configuring Entourage for both inside a company
network and from outside:

"Connecting Entourage to an Exchange Server at work"
<http://entourage.mvps.org/exchange/exchangeatwork.html>

"Connecting Entourage to an Exchange Server from Home"
<http://entourage.mvps.org/exchange/exchangeathome.html>

FYI, if your company is using Active Directory then you have an LDAP
server. Use the address of a Global Catalog server, which is a special
type of domain controller.

Hope this helps!
