I don't have an iPhone but rather a BlackBerry. To sync the iPhone I
think you do it through iTunes and it automatically will sync you iCal
and Addressbook info to the iPhone. To get your Entourage data to iCal
you have to turn on sync services in Entourage preferences. Be aware
that there are a lot of sync issues with Entourage and they can be
nasty - dups, data loss, corruption, damage to the entourage DB. I'd
scan the forum to get a full picture of this and determine if you want
to use Entourage. If you do, the best thing is to only sync Entourage
to Apple's sync services by enabling only one module at a time.
Finally go to Markspace.com and see if the Missing Sync for the iPhone
provides value to you for iPhone sync'g. I use their products for both
my BlackBerry and Palm TX and its excellent software. they have a very
good reputation in the industry.
Good luck with Entourage sync. I gave up Entourage about 3 months ago.
