entourage and outlook programs in 2 differentcomputers are crossed

Let me begin by saying that i am not very computer savvy so any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

I have a pc with outlook setup in it, in this computer and program i have 2 of my business emails. i purchased an imac and mac book and wanted to have access to those incoming emails as well as be able to send. so i set up the entourage with all the info (smpt, pop, id and passwords given to me by the webmaster that hosts my website) everything seemed fine but now i realize i can only receive my business emails in entourage but not in outlook, i also cannot send messages . i don't even know if i am receiving all the messages. when i tried sending test messages from an optonline account and a yahoo account, only the yahoo message was received. the opposite is happening with outlook, it only receives messages from the optonline account and not the yahoo. to make matters worse any and all emails being received by entourage are not showing up in outlook. its like i crossed something up. help!!!!! thanks

You need to set up as an IMAP rather than POP account. You can do this with
POP but IMAP would be easier as it will have your sent mail on the server as
well.

POP by nature downloads mail from the server and then deletes it from the
server. This is to save space and help prevent you from going over your
allotted quota for space.

For POP use these settings:

In Entourage, under the Options tab select "Leave a copy of each message on
the server". You will need to do this for your Outlook accounts too. If not
the emails will not be available for Entourage to download.

Set "Delete messages from the server after ## days". 30 days should cover
you for all clients.
