Version: 2008
Email Client: Exchange

Have setup Entourage and it sync with Exchange with no problem, download emails stc.

What happens is that if the MacAir is left off for some period of time, IE, 2 weeks, when it goes back to sync exchange, it does not pick up all the messages, since the last sync.

I cannot find a place to check this, the users BB had no problem sync'ing up all the old emails.

Any advice?

Thanks.

What /does/ it sync? Anything? Are you sure it's actively connected to the
server? Can you send email? Does anything happen if you control-click
offending folders and choose Folder Properties > Empty Cache?

It will go through and sync everything, but there was a gap in the emails, for some reason it did not sync.

the user only uses it on a trips, so it maybe off for some period of time, today a sync'ed and it got everything, 2 months ago, he sync'ed and it did not get 2 weeks of emails.

I suspect the lapse was because he was remote and connectivity was intermittent, for some reason Entourage thought it had sync'ed, but really had not. Is that even possible?

Sorry, BB is BlackBerry.

Shouldn't be, but clearing the cache should fix the problem.
