Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: Exchange Good afternoon,

Is the application ENTOURAGE 2008 WSE able to make a difference when the e-mail client is connected locally across the LAN and when the e-mail client is connected remotely across the WAN.
In our case with a server EXCHANGE 2007, we have an error with the certificate when the user connects across the LAN. No problem however remotely.

Thank you,

Well it would indicate that the server is presenting a different,
invalid certificate from Within the LAN. I've seen that before and the
only option is to have the certificate corrected on the server.

Hi,

It would be surprising, that same certificate works with a client e-mail in Microsoft Outlook. Since Outlook everything works properly from within and outside.

Outlook might not be using the same protocols and therefore not
accessing the account for the same server.
I had a similar situation before and Outlook on Windows was fine too,
but the certificate was not valid for the back-end server the Mac was
accessing on LAN.
