How do I make Entourage my Default email application, so that when I select a file and send it via Finder/Services/Mail it does to Entourage ??

hi, i hv had the same problems .. when on most of the menus, where "Mail" is mentioned it means the "Mail" email client of apple .. the only place i figured out to make Entourage the email client was in the print menu .. where one can add / amend the menu ... If u try to even send a pic from the "preview" where it says mail .. "Mail" will open up !!! if u come up with a solution .. pls send it thru ....

In Entourage's preferences (Entourage>Preferences), in the General section,
there is a button which says "Set Entourage to be my default e-mail client".
Click that button, and Entourage will be set as your default e-mail
application.

The Services entry that you mention, though, refers to Mail, i.e. the actual
Mac OS X application, so you cannot change that behaviour. Note that you can
simply drag a file onto the Entourage icon in the Dock to create a new mail
message with the file in the attachment.

See my previous reply. In some cases, Mail is configured as the default
e-mail application (such as Preview), and you cannot change that behaviour.
This is due to the fact that in almost every single one of these cases (The
PDF>Mail PDF button in the Print dialogue is yet another example), a script
is launched, and that script is set to use Mail. You might be able to modify
some of these scripts, but I am not sure if that can be done easily.
