Entourage conduit problem

I have installed and reinstalled and reinstalled, the Entourage
conduit for Palm PDAs running 4.0. I am running Mac OS 10.4.8 on an
Intell-based MacBook Pro. When I first install the conduit, it
works. When I reboot the computer, it does not (double-clicking the
conduit in Conduit Settings does nothing). Please advise as to a fix.

I have a very similar problem. I do not know how to get setup to
begin. I have used Palm Desktop quite a bit in the past, but would
like to move to using Entourage for managing my data. I have a Palm
Tungsten T2 and MacBook Pro as well as a new Intel iMac.
Can anyone give me some advice on setting this up?

I suspect that this is a Palm Desktop issue. You might want to try to
contact them.
I dumped their application ages ago and migrated to the Missinc Sync
instead.

I am using Microsoft's Entourage Conduit that comes with Office
2004! I stopped using Palm Desktop's conduits some time ago.

Well you have too anyway. Palm doesn't offer and Entourage conduit.
You're still using the Palm software though.
What I was saying is that I don't use Palm Desktop at all anymore: I use
the Missing Sync.

I am trying to sync up Entourage on my laptop with Palm's databases on
my PDA, using Microsoft's synchronization software! I do not use Palm

You have to use a synchronization software.
Entourage only provides a conduit that allows the SYnc app to get and
sync the ENtourage data. Entourage itself doesn't sync anything.
The conduit is more like an interpreter for the Sync software.

There are currently two possibilities to sync "anything" to a Palm. The
Palm suite of applications (aka Palm Desktop) and the Missinc Sync.

Didn't you install the Palm Destop application at some point?? How do
you configure the various conduits?? Don't you have to open some Palm
application of some sort to do so?? You sure can't configure the
Entourage Palm conduit from ENtourage itself.
