Entourage conflicts with Adobe CS keyboard functions ?!

Tex

I have two Macs (a G4 and a G5) running Panther with the same set of
problems: When Entourage is running, some of the keyboard modifiers
don't work properly in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. It is
driving us crazy. If we quit Entourage, everything works fine again.
I've spent several hours searching MS and the web for any mention of
this problem with no success. Has anyone else encountered this
problem? If so, have you found a solution?

Thanks,
Tex Gregory

I've got Panther 10.3.4, Erage 2004 and Photoshop CS and the modifiers work
for me -- what modifiers in particular aren't working for you? Are you
using customized shortcuts or the default ones?

Thanks for the feedback Nate.

The programs were acting like the option key was being held down or
wouldn't do what they are supposed to when you did hold the option key
down. I tried different keyboards, etc., but in the end the problem
just vanished. We fought it for about a week with no solution (except
only running Entourage to check e-mail and then quitting it) and then
poof, it was gone. I didn't do any upgrading, so I have no idea what
the issue was. All I know is it was driving us crazy and now it's gone
and I'm not a glutton for punishment, so I have no intention of trying
to get the problem back just to try and figure it out ;-). I hope
anyone else experiencing this will have the same "poof" fortune we
did. :)
