Hi Steve!

Try de-selecting the "Send commands to server simultaneously" option.
Not all IMAP server support this. You might also try de-selecting "Live
Sync".

Hope this helps!

Hi William,

That didn't work. It almost seems like I tried everything. My messages send
and receive OK but the message pops up every so often and it's quite
annoying.

My IMAP web mail is Squirrel Mail if that makes any difference and my ISP is
MacHighway.com

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If need be, I can show
all of my settings if you want to see them.

Thanks again,

Steve

Hi Steve!

If you're willing to create me a temporary test account then I can
connect with my Entourage to try and reproduce your problem. You can
contact me privately--be sure to mind my munged address.

Hi William,

After many emails back and forth between my ISP's support group, they
finally suggested that I delete the account and recreate it, which I
did. Now everything works perfectly. I guess something just got
clobbered or not set correctly the first time I set it up.

I do appreciate you for taking the time to help with this unfortunate
matter. Your assistance is above and beyond excellence.

Sincerely,

Steve Thompson
