Entourage connection to Exchange 2000 Server

The company i work for got two Macs which were setup with Entourage to
connect to Exchange 2000 Server.
It worked for the longest time but now its acting up. Once the user is
working on her PC she has no problem sending/receiving emails or even
looking at past emails.

Once user is on her Mac and using Entourage, the Exchange done synch
and emails gets lost.
Can someone guide me in the right direction on how to fix the problem?

Thanks

PCs use MAPI to connect whereas Entourage on your Mac is accessing the
server through WebDAV. If WebDAV support is not enabled or if something
there is wrong, that would explain why people on PCs can use e-mails but
Mac users can't.

Could you give us more details
What version of Entourage are you using??
What do you mean by e-mails get lost?? They disappear from the server??
There is a possibility one of the Rules in Entourage is messed up and
the e-mails are redirected to a local folder and deleted from Excahnge.
Check all the rules. Once in a while (and especially after a database
rebuild) Rules tend to go corrupted and send everything to the *local*
(not exchange) inbox by default.

Do you possibly have Entourage set to connect to your Exchange server
via POP? If so then Entourage is probably set to download and delete.
You'll want to connect as an Exchange client, which requires at minimum
Exchange 2000 sp2, and for Outlook Web Access to be enabled.

Hope this helps! bill
