Entourage crashes if exchange account heavily modified

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: Exchange Hello,

I´ve been experiencing this issue several times now.
Open Entourage and connect to an exchange account.

Open e.g. Outlook and do some heavy email stuff - like archive 2000 items on the same account.

Entourage will end up with the spinning ball of death and the Microsoft Database will be corrupt. Even the DB Utility won´t fix it.

You might want to do big moves using OWA.

Entourage will end up with the spinning ball of death and the Microsoft
Database will be corrupt. Even the DB Utility won´t fix it.

I suggest starting with a new Identity AFTER you have use OWA to move your
messages around so that when Entourage does download your messages they will
not require a lot of big moves like this. See this article for help:
