MS Entourage crashes when I launch it. Console gives these crash
reports...
Can any one help to fix it?
Also if this sw doesn't start working how do I get my mails to some
other
program?

thanx!

Allow me to add that this text isn't the actual Crash Report. The first
entry is simply a warning to the developers, as described here:
<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/faq/faqs.html#Anchor-186>

If you read the second entry, you'll notice that the log even tells you to
where the crash log has been saved.
Crash report written to:
/Users/mf/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/Microsoft Entourage.crash.log

That's the file we need to see if you hope that someone who understands
those things will be able to help you. Just be sure to include the relevant
crash, not all the crashes you've ever experienced in Entourage on your
machine!

Regarding your problem, Dave's advice will likely help if you have a receive
mail schedule configured to run on launch. Otherwise, take a look at the
information I posted in the thread "Can't even open Entourage before it
crashes... PLEASE HELP ME!" on Saturday if you end up needing further
assistance.

Hi,

First, thanks for the answers. I managed to get Entourage to launch,
but there is still
problems...
I can't see any of my old emails in the Inbox view, it's all grey! If
I click on somewhere, I can see preview for one of the mails and then
scroll through the messages. During this the program crashes every now
and them at seemingly random places. How can I get my emails to
safety?
there's too many to try and do indivudually and if I select all it's a
sure crash.

below is the crash report for single occasion.

Did you try rebuilding the database, like I suggested in the thread to which
I referred you? It sounds like it might help in your case. First, go to
Entourage -> Turn Off Office Notifications. Now, quit Entourage, and then
restart Entourage holding down the Option key. When the Rebuild dialog box
comes up, choose to do a Typical Rebuild. That might not work, since you're
seeing severe symptoms; you might need to repeat the above procedure,
instead electing to perform an Advanced Rebuild.

Sounds similar to how the junk mail filter can crash Entourage. Try
unplugging the network cable (to disable an internet connection), and
launch Entourage. After that, go to Tools > Junk Mail Filter and
disable it (if it's on). Quit Entourage, plug the network cable back
in, and fire up Entourage again. If it works, it's because you had
the junk mail filter on and Entourage was set to check mail upon
startup.
