Entourage crashing, despite frequent d/b rebuilds

Every few days my entourage crashes, usually when deleting emails (I have saved the long error message, if that helps in the diagnosis.) I rebuilt my database last week and got relief for just a couple of days. What do I do next?

Let's verify the database. Rebuilds do not always fix problems.

Under File > Export, select the default action to export all items as
Entourage archive (.rge) file.

If this fails, we know there is database corruption.

If this is OK, how big is your database?
How much free space on your hd? <http://tinyurl.com/dyfu5m>

Sorry for the delay. I just started a new job when this first posted. I tried the File>Export and it was successful. (Do I need to save the .rge file that it produced?) the main identty is 725MB.

I then checked space--I have 129 GB free.

Entourage is still crashing seemingly randomly, always when deleting emails. Please advice.

You should be ok with that. I have seen Entourage act really crazy when
users got down to the almost no free space.

Hmmmm, if Entourage exported without giving you an error, the database
should be good. You can use the .rge file to import into a new Identity to
see if the problems go away. I suggest doing this again so you have the
latest emails.
