Entourage crashing when message contains html

Version: v.X
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: pop

Running Office X, intel mac 10.5.2, 4 megs ram.
Whenever I select a message that contains html, entourage crashes. The Office install was done by copying the application from my old g5 (where the original install was done). If I deselect "show complex html" in preferences, the messages open fine and the program does not crash, but this is not how I'd like the program to work.
Can you help

I hope you have upgraded to 10.1.9. Do yourself a favor and upgrade. Home &
Student version is $124.99. (does not contain Exchange)

Amazon.com: Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac Home & Student Edition: Mac OS X:

In addition to trashing the com.microsoft.browserfont.cache, you can also
try trashing the tasmanbrowser.cache, which will be found in your
~/Library/Caches.

I'm having a similar problem with certain emails (html, I guess) crashing my Entourage 2008, plus a problem with having to reenter passwords for my email accounts every time I reopen. I click on the box to save the passwords in my keychain, but they are never saved. Two problems. Any ideas? Running Intel MacBook with OX X.4.11

The 12.1.2 update released today might help with the HMTL messages.

For your password problem, you might need to download the combo updater from
Apple and run it again rather than using Software Update. Doing so
overwrites potentially problem-causing files. Several users have reported
this fixed some odd problems they were having with Entourage. Combo updaters
will install on the same version as they¹re applying‹no need to roll back or
do a clean install.

Leopard:

Mac OS X 10.5.4 Combo Update
(For both PowerPC- and Intel-based Macs )

Tiger:
