Entourage data gone after 10.1.6 Security Update

I used the automatic update feature when getting the 10.1.6 Security Update. Now, a week later, I opened my Entourage with the same icon I have used (in the Dock) forever. The Entourage opened as if it were the first time I have ever used the program. I have no access to my Calendar, Mail, Contacts, etc., unless I sign up as a new account.
Where did my data go? I have none of the folders that the "help" pages list, but I do have Office X Identities. When it opens, Main Identity folder has Database, DB Cache, Mailing lists, Rules and Signatures, but these all open back into the empty Entourage account. None of my personal data is found. I cannot find a way to rebuild something I do not have; my profile with all of my data and saved & categorized emails. What can I do to prevent any losses if I can re-access/find my database of info?

I had the same problem, but with no 1 week delay. I just installed today, restarted, and voila, it looks like I need to start Entourage from scratch.

Did either of you move, rename, or delete the Microsoft User Data folder or
the Office 2008 Identities folder. You need to find a copy of the one you
had before the update and use it to replace the one that Entourage (in a
misguided attempt to be helpful) created when it couldn't find the one it
expected.

I would like to ask everyone who has encountered a problem like this
(unexpectedly empty Entourage identity) to Send Feedback to Microsoft (using
the Help menu) to ask them not to create an identity without confirming that
the user wants Entourage to do so -- and perhaps asking the user to identify
an existing Identity. I think it would greatly reduce this source of
confusion.

Wait - for the ones who obviously rode the short bus, what do you mean by finding a Microsoft User Data folder or Office 2008 Identities folder? I didn't move it and had no idea such a thing existed... how do I fix it if I don't know where it is?

Inside your home folder, you should find a Documents folder; the Microsoft
User Data folder is inside that, and the Office 2008 Identities folder is
inside that one. In other words, if ~ represents your home folder, we're
talking about
~/Document/Microsoft User Data/Office 2008 Identities
