Hi,
I am trying to use the Share Project feature of Entourage 2004
(11.2.5), and have noticed a rather alarming bug that has destroyed
several of my OmniGraffle and OmniOutliner documents. After selecting
an Omnioutliner document to share to the other members of the team, I
noticed that the original document is still on my local drive, but the
package is empty. The copy of my OmniOutliner file on the server is
contains the data.
To reproduce this bug:
1. Create a new project.
2. Select a package document file to share
3. Freak ( ) as your local copy is now missing its data!
Surely one would think that four years is enough time for Microsoft to
get on the bandwagon and understand that packages are bundles not
folder, and to treat them as such, or are we supposed to use Word,
Excel, Powerpoint for everything! ha! </rant>
