Entourage Dialing my modem?

A client of mine is using Entourage 10.1.6 with just one Exchange account
set up. As long as the mac is connected to the network, entourage works
just fine. As soon as I unplug it from the network, I start to get pop up
error messages from the Internet Connect application that says that it
couldn¹t dial because I have not entered a phone number to dial. All I can
do is click ³OK² and the message goes away...but will come back fairly
quickly. If I check the console logs, this is what I see:

Basically, you need to update your network port configurations so that your
internal modem is not available.

I have experienced the same problem. Here's what I did:

(1) Go the the Apple menu, and select "System Preferences"
(2) Click the "Network" icon
(3) For your "Location", select "Internal Modem" (or double-click the
"Internal Modem" item in the "Network Status" list.
(4) In the "PPP" section, select "PPP Options"
(5) Uncheck the "Connect automatically when needed" checkbox.

I think this is the method you'll want to use particularly if you have
multiple network "Locations."
