Entourage does not start

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: imap

After deleting an IMAP folder on the server Entourage crashed. I can't start Entourage anymore. On the server the IMAP folder has disappeared.
Is there a possibility to configure Entourage with another utility or start it without using the IMAP account?
