Entourage e-mail not being received

A friend of mine lives in Louisiana and uses a cable modem. His e-mail
address ends in charter.net. His ISP is Charter Cable.

When I send him e-mail using Entourage, he does not receive it. When I send
it using my ISP's webbased e-mail, he gets the e-mail. My ISP is SBC
Global now AT&T/yahoo.

Any known issues with Entourage 2004 in this area? The same problem with my
old Entourage 2001 Thank you. Nathan

Do you get an error when you try sending a message with Entourage? If so,
what does it say?

Did you make sure that your settings are correct? According to
<http://support.sbcglobal.net/article.php?item=285>, in Tools > Accounts,
under your account's "advanced sending options", "SMTP server requires
authentication"/"Use same settings as receiving mail server" should be
checked.

Also, ask your friend to check his junk e-mail folders on the web interface,
if there is one, and in his e-mail client. Perhaps for some reason the
messages you send from Entourage are being mistakenly classified as junk
mail.
