See the fix for error -3259 on the Error Page

Not sure what your cnfig number is for. Have never seen that before.

You weren't quite clear about your setup. Most users just download their
university email into Entourage without having to forward it. Most
institutions post directions on setting up their email accounts with
Entourage. Check there and post back if you continue to have problems.
Provide more details.

Hi,
I posted this response earlier, but it does not seem to have made it
onto the group, so appologies if it should subsequently appear twice!

I'm not sure what you mean by forward. If you have the smtphost and
pop settings that should be enough to give you access to your mail.

Can you gain access to your email some other way, such as through
outlook web access? It is worth checking, to rule out other problems.

I have had this problem and found from:

http://www.entourage.mvps.org/error/page.html#error-3259

that this is a server error. Having ruled out anything else, you need
to contact university IT, and they should be able to put it right. The
IT staff at our university were able to fix it when I came accross
this issue (interestingly it only happend after a server crash).
Using Entourage or apple mail, or Eudora, etc, should not be a
problem, as these systems are cross platform, so that is not an issue.

cheers,

Peter
