Entourage/Exchange Multiple Calendars Reminders Not Working

Mac OS 10.4.9. Using Entourage 2004, with the latest updates
installed. We're using an Exchange 2003 server. This problem is
happening on my computer as well as the other Mac in our office (which
is using the same version of Entourage, but is OS 10.3.x)

The reminders are working for events on the default calendar of my
account. I created a new calendar in my account, but no reminders
ever popup for events on the new calendar.

I've checked the few settings I could find, and everything appears to
be set correctly. Am i missing something?
