Entourage Fehlermeldung bei Verbindung mit Exchange 2003/2007

Hallo,

meine E-Mail Domain endet mit .DE, der Server endet mit .COM. Das Zertifikat
passt zum Servernamen, also auch .COM

Immer wenn ich mich mit Entourage verbinde bekomme ich eine Meldung, dass
die Verbindung zu ....DE nicht sicher sei, denn das Zertifikat stimmt nicht.

Habe ich was falsch konfiguriert?

Hallo Ulrich,

ich sollte zuerst einmal bemerken, dass diese Newsgruppe englischsprachig
ist; die allerwenigsten Leute hier werden also deine Fragen verstehen. Es
gibt eine deutschsprachige Newsgruppe
(microsoft.public.de.softwarefuer.macintosh), aber leider bin ich dort einer
der wenigen Leute, die Fragen beantworten. Und das Problem ist, dass ich
Exchange nicht benutze und somit nur äußerst selten Antworten auf Fragen zum
Thema Exchange geben kann.

Kannst du eventuell deine Fragen noch einmal auf Englisch wiederholen? Wenn
du Hilfe beim Übersetzen brauchst, gib Bescheid!

If my Entourage (newest Version) connects to our Exchange Server 2007 i
became an error message.

"No safe connection, because the certificate is wrong."

The Name of the Server is 'mail.msp-it.com' The certificate is an Domain
Cert for '*.msp-it.com'. My E-Mail is '(e-mail address removed)'.

My User Account is 'ulrich.manns' the domain is 'msp-it.local'. So why do
Entourage look for an cert for 'msp-it.de'???

Try this.

Open Safari or another web browser and enter your server's name. Since
you say your server name is "mail.msp-it.com" then use:

https://mail.msp-it.com/exchange

This should warn you too about the certificate. Click the little lock
icon within your browser and this will display the certificate to you.
Read through it and verify that the server address and root certificate
address are correct.
