Entourage freezes when synchronizing with Exchange

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

Hello there.

I am having major problems getting my Entourage synchronizing properly with my Exchange email.

It works flawlessly on the PC but running into problems on the Mac. After I configured the email account, it connects to Exchange with no issue and starts replicating the email. After some time, it seems to get stuck when synchronizing certain folders.

I reviewed other postings extensively and found similar issues but none of the fixes seemed to help.

I've rebuilt the database, I've created another user account, I've uninstalled and reinstalled Office and still the same situation...

Can you guys PLEASE help me out?! I am desperately trying to get my Entourage synchronized with my Exchange otherwise this expensive investment is not worth it for me.

I am my network's administrator and never thought I'd have run into so many problems with my email...

FWIW, rebuilding the database for an Exchange account is not the best
option. Creating a new Identity then letting Entourage sync to your account
does the job much better. Of course, if you have POP accounts then this is
another matter.
