Entourage hanging on Tiger

Hello,

I just did 2 new builds of PowerBook G4s (one older and one newer
non-intel) and installed Office 2004 w/ SP2 and all updates (11.2.3).
Now the users are experiencing hanging when they are in Entourage. I am
not experiencing any issues on my MacBook Pro (Intel).

Does anyone know what the issue might be? Previously he was using
Panther (OS X 10.3) with Office 2004 and had no issues.

Their databases are large, but they were working in Panther, so i'm
confused as why they wouldn't work now in Tiger.

I'd advise you to launch Entourage and when it seems to hang, let it
run. It could be Spotlight updating going on, or some other conversion
process behind the scenes.

I've been using Entourage 2004 for a long time, and when I first launch
it I still experience a delay of one or two minutes before the program
becomes responsive. I'm not sure what that's about, but I just put
Entourage into my Login items so it launches when I start up, and leave
it running.

I'm getting a hang every time I right click (control click). This
definitely did not happen prior to the update to the latest Office
2004, not quite as certain about the 10.4.6 upgrade.

Could that be the hang they're seeing?
