Hi Y'all;
I've been trying to use Entourage X (and Entourage 2001 using Classic
mode) on a Mac G4, 10.2.6, to check and download emails from my
Hotmail account. Whenever I do so, I get an error -17599, expected
data from Hotmail missing. Perusing the Microsoft website has been no
help whatsoever, downloading and upgrading Office to 10.1.5 (including
the 10.1.2 upgrade that [briefly] allowed me to download Hotmail
emails in Entourage before) has done nothing, and I'm now puzzling
over the fact that the email program I spent real money on from
Microsoft can access all my email accounts...except the one run by
Microsoft. Does this strike anyone else as being rather amusing and
ironic?
Has anyone gotten Hotmail to work with Entourage on the Mac? Do I
have to upgrade my life to MSN X for Mac to make this work (which I
will _not_ do for $80 for 3 months)? Does anyone know any other
method for extracting email messages from a Hotmail account? I feel
used and abused, which I is a familiar feeling for the Mac user in
Microsoft Land.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide,
Richard
