Entourage & HP C6180

Whenever I try to send a scanned document to Entourage via the HP
C6180 multifunction machine, I get the ERROR MESSAGE "Error ocurred
while trying to launch application"...or the scan window will just
disappear without a message. However, if I choose the option to send
the scan to Apple.mail, it is successful. Also have tried to send
scanned document as "OCR to MS Word" without any success. Have talked
with HP Support and MS Office Support with no success.

To my knowledge this has never come up on the newsgroup. I wouldn't have a
clue as to what to suggest.

Seems there is a launch services file that might contain this kind of info.
Maybe someone else with more experience might be able to shed more light on
how to fix this.

Thanks for the insights. No, it nevers launches Entourage or Word. I
may try talking to HP Support one more time. Maybe I will get a
different tech who has run into this issue before. The HP
instructions for scanning are one small paragraph, stating the
obvious.
