I'm still using Office X and have been reading reviews of Office 2008.
Entourage X works pretty well for me and I would like to know the
differences in how HTML images are handled between these two versions of
Entourage. Images not being displayed confuses me.
Following below are two sentences taken from a review about HTML in
Entourage 2008.

Probably the number one strike against Entourage before was its rendering of
HTML emails; they were slow to draw, and made the program sluggish. Not any
more, though. HTML Messages display instantly, although by default images
won't be displayed.

Thank you.

Spammers can create HTML emails that track you when you read them. They
do this by creating special images that report you when you display
them. A security feature of Entourage prevents images from displaying
until you:

a) add the sender to your address book
b) click the "Display Images" link at the top of the message window

Very true. These are images that are on the Internet and require you to
open the message and then download the pictures. Images sent *with* the
message will display without any additional work on your part.
