entourage identity can't be verified and database prob with other office applications

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

When i try to open Entourage it says "this identity can not be open with this version of entourage" and does not let me open Entourage. When i open other office applications, a little screen pops up after everything has loaded and says that there's a database error, but when I've tried restoring it how it tells me to, nothing changes!! I've tried uninstalling and re-installing but it has not fixed anything...

"This Identity Cannot Be Opened With This Version of Entourage"
This message usually means, for example, any Identity saved with a 12.1.0 or
later version will not open in 12.0.0 or 12.0.1. Since there was a database
format change in 12.1.0 (SP1), Entourage 12.0.0 or 12.0.1 cannot open a
database saved in the later version.

Entourage 2004 also had a database upgrade from the original release.

Once you upgrade, the Identity will open.
