Hi, I know that there have been several posts on this topic. And one of them *ALMOST* solved my problem. So here goes (I'm going to paste in the solution from the previous thread so that you know the history and why it isn't totally working).
I have two computers, a laptop (PowerBook G4) and a desktop (PowerMac G5). Both are running the same exact version of MS Office with all updates made. When I shut both of my computers down, lets say for a day, and then I turn them both on, the mail on the laptop comes in with the TIME that the email was SENT while the desktop comes in with the TIME that the email was RECEIVED (ex. all 96 new emails say 3:27PM). All settings are the same (as far as I can tell) on both systems.
Now, there was a thread (below) that did answer the question (sort of). Take a read:

Re: Inbox Time Stamp
This is a per-user feature. Right-click the column headers and select
"Sent" from the contextual menu and you'll see the "Sent" column. You
might want to right-click again and deselect "Received".
Hope this helps!

This works but here is where I have a problem: If my desktop Entourage is set to have NO PREVIEW PANE or a PREVIEW PANE BELOW then the above solution works. I can see a sent column with the correct time and a received column with the time I turned the computer on or downloaded the email (in the example I gave, all 96 say 3:27pm). HOWEVER, I use the preview pane on the right. If I only have the SENT column showing (which is showing the correct time they SENT the email) and then I put the preview pane on the right, it switches everything back and ONLY shows me the time that I RECEIVED the email.
What drives me crazy is that this works properly on my laptop all the time b/c it gets turned off and on all the time. It's gotten so bad that when I go away (which is frequently) I just leave my computer on all the time so that the emails come in with the proper time stamp. It's really frustrating.
Any help that anyone can be would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks!!!
Christopher

Re: Inbox Time Stamp
I'm using Entourage 2004. Until a couple months ago, when I saw the
messages listed in my Inbox, the time stamp in the upper right-hand
corner indicated the time the e-mail was sent. Now that time stamp
indicates the time that I downloaded the e-mail. As a result, all the
e-mails downloaded at any given time have the same time stamp. I am now
required to open the message in order to see what time it was sent.
What changed? My wife's version of Entourage (bought & set up at the
same time) still shows the stamp the "old way." Our settings appear to
be the same.
This is a per-user feature. Right-click the column headers and select
"Sent" from the contextual menu and you'll see the "Sent" column. You
might want to right-click again and deselect "Received".
