I am looking to upgrade our MAC systems and Office application, but wanted to know more about being able to interface with our CRM system.
Because of applications and our industry we must use PCs and their software. WE have committed to using the Outllok 2007 w/ Business Contact Manager for our sales. While I understand that Entourage 2008 doesn't have the interface or a CRM for Outlook built-in I want to know if it can interface at all, and to what capacity.
Could we at least see the same contacts if it were on our SOHO MS server? I need to know if I will be able to view, add, or manipulate the contacts. What about associated information form the CRM?
We are in process of purchasing a solid new server to host the Outlook Business CRM, so we can at least access or "check-out" the database when going on the road or out of town.
Now I know there seems to be a large disconnect between the PC and MAC community, but this is a massive issue for those of us that love being in the MAC family but because of lack of business tools and our industry are forced to the PC side of life as well. SO if you do not know about the Outlook Business CRM please go to the MS website and read up on it as it would take me forever to write about it and what it is.
