Entourage is shutting down......

My Entourage is shutting down when I attempt to open the
application. I use entourage for my work email. I have a number of
email, folders and addresses that are important to me. A couple few
days back my email was acting strange. When I would go to the in box
the dates, ie the year seemed to be off. When I would attempt to sort
by date the application would shut down. I decided to put all those
emails from the inbox to a new folder. Well as they were be moved the
applcation shut down. I have gone into users/doc/
MicrosoftOfficeXIdentities, and removed the files: Database Cache,
Mailing List, Rules, and Signatures. Entourage of course now opens,
sin my needed profile and data. Can someone please help?

Try opening Entourage with shift down, there may be something in your outbox
that is stuck, if Entourage opens remove the mail from your outbox. There is
also a possibility that a damaged mail is trying to come in, when Entourage
opens with shift down and there is nothing in your outbox check your mailbox
online and remove all mail there that is new and that you can miss.

If that is not the case, your database may be corrupt.
