Entourage Keeps Demanding Password Access to Keychain

I have OS X 10.4.8, on a G4 mirror tower.

After changing my password for email, and adjusting it in keychain,
Entourage keeps asking for password access to Keychain Access. I've tried to
make it permanent, but it doesn't stick. Then I tried to repair Keychain,
and I thought it was working. Then it did it again.

Does anybody have a clue as to what may be going on?

The keychain gets corrupted at quite regular intervals - just delete the
keychain entry and let entourage recreate a new one. It should stick for a
few weeks/months.
