Entourage lock up

I have Office 2004/Entourage on a Mac Book Pro Intel. Recently I
tried to send a large graphic file by e-mail and the program locked
up. I have no problem quitting with force quit, but every time I open
Entourage it hangs up. Where can I go to delete this unsent message
without starting Entourage?

Hold Shift key down when launching Entourage. This will stop Entourage
trying to send. Turn off Preview pane. Now you should be able to view the
message in your Outbox and delete it.
