Entourage losing conectivity

We have an Exchange 2007 server. Due to a recent amalgamation we have
inherited a dozen Macs which we have connected to the Exchange server using
either Entourage 2004 and 2008. Everything works OK however every week or
so all the Macs loose connection to the exchange server simultaneously.
Entourage in all of them says "Not Connected" and if you try and send email
it asks you for you domain username and password. If you put in your
username and password it will not accept it. No other error messages are
displayed. This only effects the Macs and web mail works fine.

If you reboot the Exchange server everything works fine again without
touching the Macs for another week or so. So it is not a password, identity
or keychain issue. If you do not reboot the server whatever you do on the
Mac will not resolve the issue. I have found that if you reboot the server
in the evening while not being used it stops the problem occurring; however
this is not a long term solution. Both the Macs and Exchange are patched up
to date. Any help on the problem would be appreciated

You seem to have narrowed this down to the Exchange Server. I would
suggest posting your question in the microsoft.public.exchange.admin
newsgroup to see if someone with more Exchange experience could shed
some light onto what's happening.
