Entourage - Lost all subfolders. All backups also no subfolders

M

Entourage was running very slow. Then I noticed that the header said
"Mail ? Main Identity"

So I ran the database utility which said every thing was fine! But,
of course it is not. I can find all the sub folders via the find
function but cannot see them in Entourage. I get this message on each
email message withing the found sub folders: "The message may not be
displated because it contains an unknown character set"

Also switching between mail, address book, calendar, etc. is extremely
slow, as if the data cannot be found.

I am on a MacBook core duo with 2 Gigs memory and 16 gig HD.

This is the first time this problem has occured. However, the slow
down happens every now and then with the data intact.

I can find all my messages in the Caches>Microsoft>entourage so the
stuff is here somewhere.

Anyone? I need help! Thanks.

Did you try the rebuild?

Could be a fonts or font caches issue. Delete these files in
~/Library/Caches:
com.microsoft.browserfont.cache
tasmanbrowser.cache

Other ways to test fonts:

The first thing you need to do is determine where the problem is located so
you can take the appropriate steps to correct the problem. Is it your
database, preferences, corruption in your User's folder, your system
files??? Steps to test can be found here:
