Entourage & Mac OS X 10.3 Panther

Since I moved to Panther Entourage can't use Stuffit
compression any more! When I try to email a folder the
button compression -> Macintosh (Stuffit) is grayed out!!!
This happens with a clean Mac OS X 10.3 System install on
different machines. Installed Stuffit Delux Panther Version
-> still the same result. No compression available.

Any hints?
