What sort of accounts have you got, and how many?

I you have accounts that are 'aliases' for sending only, with different
email addresses, it may be they are all receiving POP mail from the
same account on the server. If this is the case, open the 'send and
receive all' schedule and uncheck two ofo those accounts so the mail is
only receied at one.

Like most MVPs, I am responding to your query through the public
newsgroup channel (NNTP). Microsoft is planning to close the public
newsgroups which would effectively disable this channel and may affect
the number of answers that are given. Please post any concerns you have
about these plans in this newsgroup so we can forward them on to

I was working with a client yesterday and found that a new Identity fixed
the problem of multiple downloads. They had an IMAP account so it was easy
to make a new Identity. Usually it¹s a server issue that causes multiple
downloads.
