Entourage message sync

In Entourage 2008, how often does the downloaded messages sync back with the Exchange server. I am seeing a behavior which i can't figure how to force it manually.

I modified an email on the Exchange server but this modifications never got reflected on the Entourage Client. I re-checked after few days and see the updated messages. So wondering what triggers this resync which does not happen with Send/Receive.

Is it configurable?

In Entourage 2008, how often does the downloaded messages sync back with

In theory the INBOX syncs within a minute or two, other folders take a bit
longer than that. I recommend keeping folders (especially the INBOX)
well-pruned, folders with many thousands of messages will take forever to
sync and can get stuck.

Send & Receive doesn't do anything for an Exchange server. You can force a
sync on a particular folder by control-clicking it and choosing "Synchronize
Now."
