Entourage Newsgroup Reader

I am using Entourage 2008, and I have my view set to group messages by
SUBJECT then DATE.

My problem is this: I can't seem to find a way to "watch" or "mark" a
particular thread in a given newsgroup. The closest thing I can find is to
flag individual messages which is a big pain. Any suggestions are welcome.

The Entourage newsreader is very simple. Even creating a thread view is not
easy. Using a category to mark a message isn't more user friendly than
flagging. Maybe one of the users tha use a third party newsreader can chime
in with some alternatives.
