Entourage not downloading new messages on one account

I have Entourage v.X 10.1.4 and as of two days ago it stopped downloading
new messages from my main account with sbcglobal.net. Here's the error
message:

The POP server returned an unexpected reply to a command that Entourage
issued.

This problem does not occur on my sub-accounts, just my main one. I created
a new account in Entourage with the same settings and that brought in all my
old messages that were still on the sbcglobal server, BUT, it would not
download anything from the last 2 days. As far as I know I didn't do
anything two days ago that might have triggered this. AT&T/Yahoo (the new
sbcglobal) say their servers are just running fine, it's on my end.

I compacted the database after this problem occurred to no effect. Any
ideas? Thank you. Nathan

Problem is solved. I thought it might be one particular message causing
the problem. So, I accessed the account through the web, moved the messages
to a new folder that would not be downloaded to Entourage, except for one
message, and that message was then downloaded fine by Entourage. I think it
was an extremely large e-mail (10mb +)that caused the whole account to not
work properly.
