Today about noon the infamous spinning wheel took over Entourage (but
all other programs, browsers worked fine). This used to happen daily,
around noon, most every day. Then disappeared for a couple of months.
Back today, but didn't disappear after an hour or so. Went to force
quit and found a "program not responding" note. Restarted and spinning
wheel took over before I could get to pulldown menus to check any
settings. Did this a few times, spinning wheel always returned. Shut
down, rebooted, multiple times. Same result. Our IT guys suggested
running utility to verify database. After 20 minutes, it said verified
OK. I even compacted the database in case it was choking the system
somehow. Same thing. So I've let it run for about 4-5 hours now to see
if it would complete whatever it's doing. No luck, still getting
program not responding. Checked activity utility and Entourage shows
up in list RED with program not responding note. So what do I do?
