Entourage not sending or receiving

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Power PC
Email Client: pop

All of a sudden I can't send emails. I get an error message that reads:
"authentication failed (#5.7.0)." Your username/password or security settings may be incorrect. Would you like to try re-entering your password?

I've tried going to Tools>Account>Mail>Click here...etc. but that did not work. Any suggestions?

Open the Keychain Access utility found in /Applications/Utilities and
run Keychain Access --> Keychain First Aid.
