Entourage not syncing Exchange Sent Item

I am unable to get Entourage 2008 to sync my Sent Items folder that is on
Exchange. Only the new messages sent since upgrading from the prior version
of Entourage are in the sent items. I have deleted Exchange account,
rebuilt the data base, added back account after rebuild, etc. Nothing seems
to work. All sent items do appear in Outlook or OWA, but I still am missing
these in Entourage. All other folders appear to be working properly and
synchronizing properly.

Hi Perry!

Quite a few folks are reporting that their Sent Items folders are not
syncing with Entourage 2008.

Can you tell me if you're connecting to an OWA address in Entourage or
are you connecting to your back-end Exchange Server?

In my case I connect to the back-end server. Another user on our network
connects to the OWA address, and has the same problem.

We too are seeing this with some Entourage 2008 users.
A few items will show in the Sent Items folder, but not all.
Seems random, so no patterns to report.
Using 12.0.1 on Exchange Server 2003.

OK, the items showing in Sent Items are indeed from our Blackberries, so NO
emails sent from Entourage are showing in Sent Items.

I don't know the technical aspects of this fix. But, I deleted my
accounts from Apple Mail and this solved the problem. I suspect that
outgoing mail from Entourage is using the outgoing mail server set in
Apple Mail rather than that set in Entourage. In my case it seems
that messages sent from my Entourage account were being routed through
gmail outgoing servers via the settings I had in Apple Mail.
