entourage not syncing just one folder

I have multiple folders under INBOX that sync's with my exchange. I have rules set up for certain addressed to automatically go to my subfolders.

A week ago, all but one folder sync's correctly - my INBOX. I am stumped, and so is my IT guy. Here are the steps that we have taken.

1. empty cache - this resynced all messages in INBOX but new messages did not get brought into INBOX (all others worked fine).
2. rebuilt database - same problem.
3. uninstalled and reinstalled Entourage (but kept original identity) - same problem.
4. created a new identity that syncs with my exchange - same problem.

Everything works fine, except this one folder. Ideas?

You've already tried emptying the cache, which will re-sync all messages
from the server. Do absolutely no messages come down from the server and
are you sure you have no rules (either in Entourage or set via Outlook
on the server side) that are moving messages to other folders? And have
you checked that a Mailing List Manager rule (Tools --> Rules...) is not
moving your messages to a different folder?

Test creating a new identity by using Entourage --> Switch Identity...
and see if the messages come down then. If so, then you should probably
continue working with that new identity and abandon the old one. (I
don't every suggest rebuilding the Database with an Exchange account.)
You can copy your Rules and Signatures files from your old identity's
folder and put them into the new one. Messages saved "On My Computer"
would need to be exported and then reimported.

I have simillar problem. All subfolders in inbox are syncing, but not inbox
itself... Also contacts and callendar items are not being pulled off the
server.

Tried recreating identities - it hasn't hanged anything.
It says it is updating contacs, inbox, etc.... bot no items there. If you go
to folder size it says that inbox has 35MB and 250MB with all subfolders, so
it sees it's size, but does not display items...

Tried clearing the cache and anything I could find on this forum... no luck...
