Entourage not syncing with address book and ical

I have Entourage v11.3.6 and iCal v2.0.5. I've turned on sync
services in the preferences menu for the address book and calener in
Entourage. This was working flawlessly up until recently. However,
now when I try to sync them I get the following results...

1) nothing actually syncs (in iCal or in Address Book)
2) The SyncServer process take 90-99% of the CPU capacity and will not
stop unless I stop it manually
3) Microsoft Sync stops responding

I've reviewed many articles on this page but nothing seems to work.

Any suggestions?

Well you might have a corruption somewhere. Since resetting SyncServices
is a rela real pain, I would first try to repair permissions on the Mac
and reboot to see if it makes any difference.

If it doesn't help, you can always disable SyncService sync in the
Entourage prefs to later re-enable it and get back to a "first sync"
state.
