Entourage Office Notifications

Anyone tell me how to get the Office Notifications to come
up as a seperate panel. My daily schedule comes up and
there is an Office Notifications icon on the task bar, but
it doesn't come up and notify me that a given person is
coming in x minutes.

I have tried turning on and off Office Notifications in the
drop down menu of Entourage.
