Entourage/Office upgrading identity

Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

40 Macs in our company sometimes upgrade their MS Office identity at startup.

Sometimes a machine is quiet for two weeks, then it returns with three days upgrading.

Went through all the recommended steps, nothing helps.

As there are multiple reports on this site: is there a definite solution on this?

It could be an issue with one of the preferences files.
Try deleting the Entourage preferences. You'll loose very little (the
activation of Sync Services, etc) and it should clear the issue.
