Entourage Palm Conduit (k)

From reading through the message board it appears that Entourage 11 is
somehow compatible with the Handheld Sync conduit available on Microsoft's
webpage.

When I try and install this, I get the following error:

"The installation failed because Microsoft Component Plugin was not found."

I'm running Office 2004(latest and greatest updates) on a Dual 2Ghz G5 with
2GB of RAM. Running OS 10.3.4

Any thoughts?

Yes, don't use the conduit available on Microsoft's webpage

Instead, install the one that is provided on the Office 2004 CD )

To be fair to MS they only list the conduit as a download for Entourage X,
not for Entourage 2004. <http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads.aspx>

But they should make this clearer somehow.

No mail, just contacts, events, tasks & notes.

You can sync the mail if you purchase a third party conduit from Ligature
Technologies.
