Entourage question re "deleted items" folder

My husband's Entourage "deleted items" folder shows the number of
items there, but the window that lists the deleted mail is blank. If
you select a spot in that window, the deleted email in that line shows
up.

Any suggestions how to fix this?

This sounds like database corruption. Hold the option key when starting
Entourage and rebuild the database.

Quit any applications that are running, including virus-protection
applications, all Office applications, Microsoft Messenger for Mac, and
Office Notifications, because they might interfere with rebuilding.
